TECNO Spark 8 Uses Android Go as the Operating System

Gadgetsmart The Chinese technology company, TECNO Mobile, has launched its newest entry-level mobile phone called TECNO Spark 8 in India.

From the hardware sector, this cellphone is equipped with the MediaTek Helio P22 (12nm) Octa-Core 2 GHz chipset combined with 2 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage.

However, if the internal capacity feels less relieved, users can embed a microSD in the slot provided. TECNO Spark 8 has also embedded HiOS 7.6 which is based on Android 11 Go Edition. Based on Google’s claims, Android 11 Go Edition has been optimized for phones with 1 GB or 512 MB RAM.

In other words, TECNO Spark 8 is able to run smoothly thanks to the use of Android 11 Go Edition. Moreover, there are also applications labeled Go, such as Maps Go, YouTube Go, Files Go, Google Go, and others that are lighter than the standard version.

The 5,000mAh battery that is present in the TECNO Spark 8 is claimed to be able to last almost a day in normal use. However, this cellphone charger still uses a microUSB port with a 10W output so that charging the battery will not be too fast.

On the front there is a 6.5-inch screen with HD + resolution that fills the front. Thanks to the use of IPS LCD technology, users will be able to continue viewing content on the screen up to an angle of 178 degrees.

On the front there is also an 8 MP front camera that can be used for selfies, video calls, and Face Unlock. While the two rear cameras have a 16 MP main camera composition and a QVGA camera.

Near the rear camera there is a fingerprint sensor that users can use to unlock the screen. In addition, 4G-LTE network support, two SIM cards, WiFi, and Bluetooth have been embedded in this cellphone. The TECNO Spark 8 is also priced at 50,000 Nigerian Naira or around IDR 1.74 million in India
