Micromax is set to launch a new smartphone in the country (Micromax In 1). The Indian company returned to the smartphone market with In series in November last year. The upcoming phone In 1 will be officially on 19 March.
According to the latest leaks, the Micromax In 1 has a 6.67-inch display with a hole punch cut-out and full HD+ resolution. For performance, the phone has the Helio G80 feature of MediaTek processor. The phone has 6GB RAM and up to 128GB ROM. Micromax In 1 is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery. The phone will be shipped with 18W Fast Charger.
In the camera industry, the Micromax In 1 has three sensor systems. The configuration will have a 48-megapixel main sensor. The other two sensors are 2 megapixel and 2 megapixel resolution. At the front, it features an 8-megapixel selfie camera. This smartphone will feature fingerprint sensor on the back side.
The company is expanding its smartphone portfolio in the coming weeks. Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma recently announced that the company will launch new handsets in March and 4-5 models from April. He said that the company will update its portfolio every six to eight months. The plans also include the provision of 5G phones.
The current lineup features on the Note 1 and 1b handsets. Micromax In Note 1 has two variants. Priced at Rs 10,999, the base model comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space. Best model price with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage space costs Rs 12,499. Similarly, 1b has two models. The base model with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage space is priced at Rs 6,999, while the second variant is priced at Rs 7,999 for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space.
