Microsoft has released a dedicated wireless headset compatible with Xbox Series X, Series S, Xbox One, and other Windows 10 devices. The new Xbox Wireless Headset comes in a clear black end and packs several game features.

The Xbox Wireless Headset is available with a single black color option, costing USD 99 (approximately Rs. 7,300) in the US. The headphones are for pre-orders, but it looks like they are already out of stock. Microsoft says wireless headphones will begin shipping from March 16 in some regions. Especially in India, the Xbox India page notes that the Xbox Wireless Headset will be available from October 5. However, the price and pre-order link in India is not yet available.

The new Xbox Wireless Headset features 40mm diaphragm drivers with integrated magnetic paper. New wireless headphones have a response time of 20Hz to 20,000Hz. Includes power / dual button, mute button, dialing on the left earcup of game / chat balance, and dialing on the right-hand cup that acts as volume controllers.

The microphone on the headphones features a twisting boom design, which can be pressed aside when not in use. The LED indicator shows when the microphone is on or off. The design of the Xbox Wireless Headset features a metal band with a foam coupon.

Xbox Wireless Headset requires membership of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Live Gold for voice chat features. Bluetooth 4.2and headsets support SBC codec. Xbox Wireless Headset requires Bluetooth 4.2 or higher to connect with Windows 10 devices. Or, it can connect and use an Xbox Wireless adapter or USB Type-C cable. USB C port on headphones allows users to charge the battery.

Speaking of batteries, Microsoft notes that the Xbox Wireless Headset offers up to 15 hours of battery life. Headphones get four hours of battery juice in just 30 minutes of charging. It can be charged in full in just three hours. Other features on the Xbox Wireless Headset include support for Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, DTA: X headset, and Xbox.
